Master’s Mix – Wheat Bran

Are you ready to grow multiple flushes of Jurassic sized mushrooms? This substrate will blow your mind with the explosive clusters that you will harvest. Our Master’s Mix substrate is made using 100% Canadian Maple logs mixed with Wheat Bran that’s fresh from the farm. Master’s Mix provides the maximum biological efficiency needed to grow bigger and better mushrooms without any additional effort. Choose any ratio of Maple and Wheat Bran to provide the best substrate for the mushroom species that you are growing. My family uses this substrate to grow mushrooms to make a variety of mushroom sauces that can go with anything from beef, chicken, or pork. Dehydrated mushroom chips are a deliciously healthy snack and have an extended shelf life. Master’s Mix contains ingredients found only in nature, pure Maple mixed with a specific amount of Wheat Bran Substrate.

Suggested Master’s Mix Ratios

  1. Troy Bourassa

Hello do the masters mix block come ready to use liquid culture on or do you have e to pasteurize them first ?

    • Nick Stoker

Hi Troy. For the best results, we recommend that you place the Master’s Mix substrate inside of Micron Filter bags with enough water to provide approximately 60% hydration. Then sterilize the blocks in a pressure cooker or autoclave for at least 1 hour at 15 psi.

Pasteurization is effective but if you want to eliminate most competing organisms sterilization works best.
