Mushroom Blocks
Master’s Mix
We are big fans of wood loving mushrooms and obsessed with making the best mushroom blocks on the planet. That is why we make our mushroom blocks with substrate specifically designed for mushroom cultivation, Master’s Mix. We take substrate very seriously! And that is why we start by choosing the very best logs available and process the substrate in our wood mill. We control every aspect of production to provide the best mushroom blocks made from our most power packed substrate, Master’s Mix.
We take addition care when producing mushroom blocks so you can enjoy the best of part of mushroom cultivation – harvesting, cooking, and eating. We start with the very best wood logs, grains, organics, and cultures to make mushroom blocks that consistently cultivate huge mushrooms. Our super-powered Master’s Mix substrate is sterilized to eliminate competing organisms and to prevent contamination. Our mushroom blocks provide maximum biological efficiency resulting in extra-large, healthy, and delicious mushrooms. The proof is in the harvest.
What’s In The Bag?
We make urban farming easy and cultivating your own mushrooms has never been more rewarding. With our mushroom blocks you will be harvesting massive clusters of mushrooms just like the professional cultivators. However, we make sure that our customers are far removed from any hard work unlike the professionals. All you have to do is harvest your mushrooms and search the internet for the “best mushroom recipe ever”. When you choose our mushroom blocks you choose to have our professional cultivators working for you.
All mushroom blocks come in a sealed micron filter bag. All mushroom blocks are made with Master’s Mix substrate and two organic components, liquid culture and organic grain. First, we source maple trees from the forests of Ontario and select the best logs to process in our wood mill. Second, we pack the mushroom blocks with loads of organic nutrients so you can grow huge mushrooms. Finally, we add a large amount of organic grain spawn to the mushroom block to start colonization.
How To Use
The hard work is done but you will still need to tend to your mushrooms during the fruiting stage. Place your block in a dark and peaceful area and let the grain spawn do its work. Once the mushroom block is very close to 100% completely colonized, cut an “X” into the bag, and watch your mushrooms grow. Exposing your mushrooms to ultra-violet light during the fruiting stage will greatly increase the production of vitamin D. The environment that you create during the fruiting stage will ultimately affect the success of your harvest. Providing the proper lighting, temperature, humidity, and ventilation will require a little planning.
